Background:
17 years experience carving stone.
1980-85 Studied under Bruno Lucchesi at the New School in New York City.
1985-88 Worked with Vincent Palumbo at the Washington D.C. National Cathedral.
1989 Restoration carving at the White House in Washington D.C.
Specialties:
Limestone, marble, African black stone, etc.
Clay models, deep bass relief, 360° sculpting and carving.
Large scale monuments/memorials.
Personal Statement:
In my artwork, I incorporate my personal philosophy of eliminating false and discriminating opinion, attitudes and portrayals of individuals by concentrating on bringing out a true and affirming representation.
